From my past experiences of travelling around Europe, I came to the realization that its the small memories that make or break a trip. Whether it is chatting to a local at a hidden cafe, devouring a delicious local delicacy, or finding a tranquil park off the beaten track, these interactions give you the chance to truly acquaint yourself with local culture. Budapest is no exception, where with minimal effort, and an open mind, you will find hidden treasures scattered throughout the city. So, are you going to come to Budapest, or will it come to you?

I was born in a smaller town, not far from the capital, and I traveled several times a year to Budapest just to shop or make a trip. These occasions played a huge role in my decision that I wanted to study and live in this amazing city. Since that decision 5 years have passed and the city didn’t disappointed me still.
P.S. I really like old buildings and city views.

Budapest means a lot me... It means the home for me, the place where I grew up, the place where my friends and family  are.. It can also mean a hidden place, if I want to be by myself, or a crowded area if I don’t want to be alone. Budapest is also a playground for me, where I can discover myself, and the whole city too. And I hope that we can explore some places together too.

I grew up in a small town, but I have already been living in Budapest for 5 years. I started university and got my first job here. During this time I fell in love with Budapest, I love living here. I have made many new relationships and I gained wonderful experiences in this city. Budapest is very beautiful especially in the evening when the lights come on. You will never be bored here because you will always find diverse programs and find the best places you will love to visit.

Originally, I am from a smaller city from the south of Hungary – and I never planned to move to the capital. The big city with always rushing and rude people, no green places, crowded and dirty streets – overestimated by tourists. And I couldn’t be more wrong. 5 years, and still, I would consider myself anything, but a local. Although ever since I moved here, this vibrating city has taken me on an exciting and beautiful journey - what i’m taking and willing to take every day to become one.
